Wir über uns

Ma’at e.V. ist ein gemeinnütziger Verein mit Sitz im Raum München. Wir setzen uns für gute Bedingungen in Bildungs- und Gesundheitseinrichtungen in Afrika ein – mit Wurzeln in Ägypten und heute aktiv in Ägypten, Simbabwe, Ghana und bald auch in Angola.

Unsere Arbeit lebt von Mitgliedern, Spenderinnen und Spendern sowie ehrenamtlichen Helferinnen und Helfern. Wir arbeiten eng mit erfahrenen Partnern vor Ort zusammen, damit jede Spende direkt bei den Kindern ankommt:

• Koptisch-Orthodoxe Diözese von Namibia, Botswana, Simbabwe & Malawi
• Anba Ibram Development (Palm4Child)
• Gefördert durch das Bundesministerium für wirtschaftliche Zusammenarbeit und Entwicklung (BMZ)

Unsere Ehrenamtlichen sind auch selbst vor Ort: 2025 haben wir in Simbabwe Schülerinnen, Schüler und Lehrkräfte fortgebildet, und 2026 ist ein Team von 12 Ehrenamtlichen in Ghana im Einsatz.

Ma’at e.V. is a registered non-profit association based near Munich, Germany. We work to create good conditions in educational and health institutions in Africa – with roots in Egypt and active today in Egypt, Zimbabwe, Ghana and soon Angola.

Our work is carried by members, donors and volunteers. We work closely with experienced local partners so that every donation reaches the children directly:

• Your Dream in Your Hands (Upper Egypt)
• Hope (partner NGO)
• Coptic Orthodox Diocese of Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe & Malawi
• Anba Ibram Development (Palm4Child)
• Funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ)

Our volunteers also go on the ground: in 2025 we trained students and teachers in Zimbabwe, and in 2026 a team of 12 volunteers is working in Ghana.
